Jarosite natural pigment powder

Historic yellow pigment. Stable iron mineral with a characteristic pale yellow tint, widely used in Russian icon painting and works of art of Ancient Egypt.

Jarosite ( Lemon Yellow Ocher ) is the purest yellow ocher found in nature, without the deeper French ocher tone. The color from batch to batch may slightly vary due to the presence of different mineralogical impurities.
